Manushya Janam Anmol Re
Shree Krishna was too happy with the sacrifice and devotion that he saw in Barbareek towards his words and granted him a wish that he will be known by his own name Shyam in Kalyuga. During this era, his head was found buried which villagers gave to a Brahmin and he worshipped it for years.
Then the head was given to the king of Khatu Roopsingh Chauhan and his wife. They also named that place as Shyam Kund where that head was found. It was Shukla Paksha of Phagun month when the temple was constructed and even today it welcomes thousands of devotees from different states.
